Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com
We have installed a tool on our Article Directory called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site.
Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you “look ahead,” before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.
Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.
New features added to ‘Submit Articles’ Page
Two new features have been added to the Article Submission page.
A Word Counter Tool and a Submission Guidelines Popup.
1. Submission Guidelines
Clicking the ‘Submission Guidelines’ link will invoke a popup window above the page which will display our Article Submission Guidelines. You can use this to check the guidelines without interrupting your article submission form.
2. Word Count Tool.
You can now open a ‘Word Count Tool’ in a popup window above your submission form.
Use this to check the Word Count of your ‘Article Body’ to make sure it is above our minimum word count of 550 words.
The Word Count tool is also included in the article submission page at the bottom, after the end of the submission form.
