It has been a while now since you have last seen your best friends or your closest relatives. The reason is that you are far away from them. Perhaps you are studying abroad. Perhaps you are working in a foreign country. Alternatively, maybe you have chosen to move in a distant city. No matter how much you try, phone calls seem not to be enough. Well, one idea to stay in touch and even to tighten your relationships is a blogging community. By means of blogging, you will be able to share with them the latest events in your life, as well as your impressions or feelings towards these events. In this manner, they will know exactly how much you want them to know about how and what you have been doing lately. In the same approach, they can use blog posts to keep you up to date with what they have been doing and thinking, or planning and achieving, and so on. In addition, a blogging community will give you the chance to post pictures or videos of you or of the places and people that you have met. Your friends or family back home may also take advantage of the visual posting features of blogging activities. You will have the chance to see how they look like, how things have changed (or maybe remained the same) with them. In your turn, you will give them the chance to see how you have transformed (or not) in your new living environment. When you start blogging, keep in mind that you want to provide your friends with as many details as possible to what concerns you. Of course, there is no conditioning on the length of your blog posts. You can have them as concise or as expanded as you feel it is appropriate for the topic on which you choose to initiate a discussion or a personal point of view. Irrespective of the length of your blog posts, those that love you and care about what you have to say will be extremely interested in the things you are writing. In fact, this is the very essence of a blogging community: the interest in shared topics of discussions. Therefore, you can join a blogging community as we are speaking. Blogging can be a very rewarding experience, both for you (you will have the satisfaction of seeing others sharing your concerns) and for your readers (particularly when we are talking about close friends or family members who are far away from you). You can make your blog posts as personal as you want them to be. In addition, you can supply your readers with your own reviews of books you have read, of movies you have seen, of music you have listened to, or of events that you have attended. These will be supplementary incentives for your readers to share your experiences by means of blogging. Blog posts will be more or less similar to diary entries. In the case where you have kept a diary, you know what we mean. However, it is only natural that bloggers will not go so far with the level of intimate writing as people do when they write diaries. Undoubtedly, nothing stops you from doing that except for your own limits as to what you want to share with your friends or family. Of course, you do have to check with a series of terms and conditions of the blogging community, as to the type of language preferred by its members.
