Ever since plans for the i MiEV electric car were released, Mitsubishi has been fielding calls from eager car lovers who want to know two things: When will the i MiEV be available and how much will it cost? While the exact price has not yet been determined, Mitsubishi fans should rest assured that the i MiEV electric car will be on the road by early 2010. The i MiEV electric car hopes to lead car makers by example with the zero-carbon emissions standard that it has set for vehicles. Winner of the 2009 “Japanese Car Most Advanced Technology” award, along with many others, the i Miev has been praised for its advanced and 100% functional electric battery technology. The efficiency of its electric motor allows the i MiEV to have a smaller batter than petroleum fueled cars. This allows for quieter driving in comparison to a petroleum fueled car. Despite its mindblowingly advanced technological features, the i Miev electric car is also known for its simplicity and functionality. The i Miev comes in the conventional family four seats model with a functional layout and conventional controls so that passengers need not feel overwhelmed by one of the most efficient and environmental friendly cars currently in existence. Part of the i MiEV’s secret lies in its economical design: its cube shaped luggage compartment, located in the rear, allows for all available space to be utilized. Also, the floor has been placed at a height designed to make loading and unloading luggage less of a struggle. Those lucky few who have test-driven the i MiEV praise the ease of charging its battery, along with the distance that one charge can take you (approximately 80 miles). The i MiEV electric car provides plenty of leg room for its passengers, along with generous storage space. This allows the i MiEV to be used for a variety of purposes, whether it be storing luggage for a vacation or transporting items for a small business. The i MiEV’s easy to use controls make it a pleasure to drive while passengers describe it as a smooth ride. Moreover, one needn’t spoil one’s daytrips – and empty one’s wallet – by constantly stopping for gas. Mitsubishi has always been at the forefront of electric car technology. Since the 1970’s, Mitsubishi has been committed to pushing the limits of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle technology. The i MiEV electric car allows Mitsubishi to come closer to its stated goal of having 20% of their cars be electric or plug-in hybrid electric by the year 2020. Nor is the i MiEV the only electric car that Mitsubishi has to offer. The Concept PX-MiEV, a plug-in hybrid with 141 mpg, will soon be presented to the public. Mitsubishi also plans to install the environmental technologies that it already has, such as the ClearTec, in the models currently being designed. UK residents have a further reason to pay attention to the i MiEV electric car: the government has committed to teaming up with i MiEV in order to make this new green technology as widely available as possible, along with studying how it is used. For those who love both their automobile and the environment, make sure to keep an eye on the car that has only 30% of the carbon emissions of a tradition car.
After much fanfare, the i MiEV electric car is finally available to the general public! The i MiEV uses start of the art, award-winning technology so that it only produces 30% of the carbon emissions of a traditional car. Not only is it technologically advanced, but it is also practically designed and easy to drive. Passengers describe the i MiEV electric car as a pleasure to ride in. One battery charge can take you and your loved one’s on a leisurely day trip. Free yourself from constantly having to pay for gas at the pump by coming down to a Mitsubishi dealership and test driving one today.
