Focusing entirely on on-page optimization is not as effective as merging it with off-page optimization. While some services are better off specialized and concentrated, in the case of search engine optimization, the wider your scope is, the better your position will be.

Look for SEO professionals who know their way and has experienced the fluctuations brought upon by the Google Dance. They’d know what to do in those situations and always remember to cover all grounds so you’d have back-up when changes occur.

For an experienced SEO user, this is easy to spot through checking the search engine itself and the top results and its backlinks but for the novice user, look out for words like “guaranteed permanent rankings” and “top rankings in a week” these are most likely bogus SEO professionals. Real SEO professionals don’t give out guarantees that would last permanently because they are supposed to know that Google refreshes its index every so often. Fluctuations occur and everyone’s subject to the Google dance. Look for an SEO company who is willing to talk to you about your goal and explain to you how realistic your goal is.
