If you're planning a vacation and want to take the family pet(s) along, take a look at North Georgia pet friendly cabins. You'll discover a myriad of choices. Rules do vary. On an unusual note, tour the Kangaroo Conservation Center. Play a game of golf. Visit a winery. Shop at the outlets in Dawson and Commerce. Visit local farmers markets. Get lost in a corn maze. Join in the fun at the many local festivals. Something special is happening every month.

State Parks welcome dogs on most trails. Your cabin will have pet walking areas. Don't risk losing your good friend in unfamiliar territory with exciting new wildlife to chase. Keep the leash on. For excursions like zip line adventures, when you're 4-legged friend needs to stay back in the cabin, make sure he's comfortable and secure with his favorite blanket and toys. If your pet is crate trained, bring along the crate he's used to with his everyday blanket and chew toys.
