Where there is such an overwhelming festival that is waiting for you to go to have a lot of fun. In Berlin, the festival takes place the first weekend of August, unlike Munich, whose festivity is in October, that's why it is called 'Oktoberfest'. Not only Berliners but also visitors from every coin of the world go to the Berlin's Beer Festival to get wasted with litters and litters of that precious liquid. The best thing about it is the price; you can be relaxed as you are not going to pay through your nose (you are not going to pay an expensive price), since there are no cover charges. Obviously you will have to pay for the beer you consume, that for granted will be a lot, so do not be a party pooper and go to chill out there. The Karl-Mark-Allee, the longest beer garden in the world expects every year around 800.000 visitors, 260 breweries from more than 80 countries which bring to this European country the most selected beer, represented in 1.800 different types and specialties. For those who are thinking in this moment I am not that pernicious, don't worry if you are not that kind of people who like drinking alcohol, not everything there, is around beer, almost, but not all, there are some other activities, there is going to be live music, in addition to the typical plates from a great deal of beer regions. From the year 1997 locals and foreigners have enjoyed in fraternity the Beer's Festival, and this year, when the 13th Festival runs (from August 7th until 9th) is not going to be different, people will feel again the great atmosphere of a folk festival, where meet, in addition to fanatics of beer, experts tasters who go to take advantage of the endless assortment of beers. The festival does not discriminate anybody, young and old people, women and men all enjoy themselves. The party is just crazy and day-by-day appear more weird but cool stuff, such as a big parade composed by vehicles from the many different breweries. As every single event that big, it is impossible not to have some gift shops. And the gift that's every year a hit, is the official Pro(Bier)Krug (Pro(Beer) Mug), it is a mug with the festival's logo, a very special item for collectors and which you can find at a moderate price (3.5 euros). The capacity of such mug is 0.2 litters and you can fill it only for 1.5 euros in any of the beer spots. Inside the karl-Marx-Allee, the things go like this; the festival is divided into 20 beer regions. Each year a different region is the protagonist and has a special performance in the fair. In the recent events some neighbor countries have started to join the Berlin's Beer Festival, a good example is Czech Republic. For ending this short writing, nothing better than some really useful phrases to try to survive in this beer experience; for instance, if you want a beer, in lieu of saying a beer, please, you will say Ein Bier, bitte, one more please is Noch eins, bitte!, if what you want is a lager ale, learn this, Ein groes Helles, bitte. Don't miss this magnum event and cheers or should I say Prost?
When it has to do with beer, you need to keep in mind that it is not only about Munich, as you know Germany is the beer's world capital, so there is nowhere better to taste the frothiest and most refreshing beer but Berlin, the German capital.
